Una Fermata a Bayeux

A Stop in Bayeux

Bayeux Cathedral

In the late afternoon, we decided to take a side trip to Bayeux. There wasn’t actually a lot to see there, aside from the cathedral and the famous Bayeux Tapestry. The Bayeux Tapestry is from 1066, and it tells the story of the Norman conquest of England. The last time I saw it was on a bus trip in a packed room when I studied abroad in Paris. This time we had the tapestry all to ourselves.

Today's Self-Portrait

After the tapestry we wandered around some, grabbed a coffee, and meandered back out of town.

Fun with the Camera ... and the Cathedral
